    • Removable clean water container and removable waste water container
    • 30 mA RCD fitted to the heating tap’s supply cable

    Installation Details

No plumbing, drainage or building work is needed, so there is no mains water connection and no contractor. The unit is for indoor use only.

    Positioning

    • Stand it on a firm, level and stable floor, so it cannot tip, rock or move.
    • Leave enough room to remove both water containers and to let air reach the unit.
    • Keep the plug and socket easy to reach.
    • Route cables and hoses so they are not kinked, crushed or a trip hazard.
    • Keep it away from frost, standing water and heavy moisture.

    Setting up

    1. Fill the clean water container with clean drinking water only. Do not add chemicals, detergents or disinfectants.
    2. Make sure the waste water container is empty and seated properly.
    3. Check the hoses, plug, cables and RCD for damage.
    4. Plug in.
    5. The first time you use it, open the tap and let the pump run for a few seconds until the flow is steady.
    6. Always empty the waste water container before you refill the clean water container.

    Handling the containers
A full 5 litre container weighs about 5.1 kg and a full 10 litre container about 10.3 kg. Lift with care.

    Compliance

The Classic Range is designed for professional indoor use in salons, clinics and treatment rooms where a plumbed basin isn’t available. Water management is kept hygienic by separate clean and waste water containers, with no connection to mains water or drainage.

For electrical protection, the heating tap’s supply cable has a 30 mA RCD fitted. Each unit comes with a user manual covering safe use, cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements for salons, clinics and treatment rooms differ between councils and insurers. Please confirm yours before you buy.

    Warranty

The Classic Range has a 12-month warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Keep your proof of purchase and the serial number from the rating label, and contact Salon Sink UK Ltd for support. This does not affect your legal rights.

    Care

    • Disconnect the unit from the power supply before cleaning.
    • Clean both water containers regularly with a mild cleaning product, then rinse well.
    • Wipe the basin and outside of the cabinet with a non-abrasive cleaner.
    • Never spray or pour cleaner onto the pump, plug, RCD, socket or the tap’s electrical parts.
    • Check hoses, cables and the plug for damage or leaks before each period of use.
    • Test the RCD monthly using its TEST and RESET buttons. If it does not trip, will not reset or keeps tripping, stop using the unit.
    • Empty both containers before moving or storing the unit, and keep it upright.

    Hot water
The instant-heating tap’s temperature depends on the incoming water temperature and the flow rate. Always check the water temperature before using it on a client.

    Delivery & Returns

    Delivery

    • We deliver to UK addresses, subject to courier and freight availability. Charges depend on the size and weight of the order, the destination and the delivery service.
    • Units are supplied fully assembled, so they may need specialist or pallet freight delivery.
    • Lead times are given when you order or in your order confirmation. They are estimates unless we agree a specific date with you in writing.
    • Standard delivery is to an accessible ground-floor or kerbside point. It does not include carrying the unit upstairs, positioning it, installation, removing doors or fixtures, or removing packaging.
    • Before ordering, check doorways, corridors, stairs and lifts. We can give you the packaged dimensions and weight on request.
    • If delivery cannot be completed because of wrong details, unsuitable access or no one being available, we may charge the reasonable extra costs of redelivery or storage.

    When your unit arrives

Inspect the packaging and, where you can, the unit. Note any visible damage on the carrier’s paperwork, photograph it, and contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours. If you suspect a leak or electrical fault, stop using the unit and disconnect it.

    Cancellations and returns

    • Consumers: you can normally cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods. Email contact@salonsinks.co.uk with your name and order number. Return the unit complete. You pay the return cost unless it is faulty. Made-to-order items may be excluded, and we will say so before you order.
    • Businesses: the 14-day consumer cancellation period does not apply. Cancellations and change-of-mind returns are by written agreement with us, and any charge reflects only our reasonable unrecoverable costs.
    • Faulty, damaged or wrong items: contact us with your order number and photos. Your legal rights are not affected by this policy.
